Default Aggregate I/O Built-in Speaker causing speaker to crack and pop

I have been utilizing the Aggregate I/O setup to record a guitar track, via Mbox mini input while monitoring via my computer built-in speakers.

While this sometimes works just fine, after a while my speakers begin to crack and pop.

I have checked my speakers to see if they were causing the problem, however they seem to be in working condition.

Also, If I reopen the project the speakers may playback normal for a while, they eventually start to crack & pop.

I think it is worth noting that my levels are set well below anything that would cause my speakers to pop due to level.

Any information on this would be much appreciated!

Alright, so I reset my Master Clock to the Built in output (instead of the mbox) and everything seems to be working now.
I didn't even think to check that.
Thanks for your help!
