Panning not working (how to change output??)
My audio tracks will not allow me to pan them. Someone told me on a different thread that it is because my outputs are mono for my audio tracks. If that is so, how do I change them?
I have tried to pan however the pan buttons are shaded over indicating that the pan feature is not active. Or they dont show up at all. I am using a Soundcraft Signature 12. I never had this issue with my Scarlett interface. I am on Pro Tools 2020.9.1 and Using a MacBook Air 10.14.6 Any thing helps! |

Re: Panning not working (how to change output??)
If your tracks are set to output to a mono destination then panning won't work... But it would be usual to have your outputs directed to a stereo destination.
The default is usually to Output 1-2, (but mine comes up as Analog 1-2) In it's simplest state, it would be usual for a mono track to be outputting to the physical outs connected to your speakers. Just check that you're not outputting to Output 1 (as opposed to Output 1-2)
