Default Help please!

I'm using mac os sierra and focusrite scalett solo as my audio interface. I installed protools and i'm not getting any options to acess i/o under set up. Its not there! When scarlett is pluged in protools is reading 2 of them. I'm lost can't figure out any solutions.

Hi, welcome to the community.

The settings of a 3rd party hardware cannot be adjusted from PT software, it needs to be set up using a different software provided by the 3rd party.

Some things to remember:
1-3rd party interfaces often have software for routing and monitoring(JFreak already mentioned)
2-With Pro Tools open, go to Setup>Hardware and make sure the Focusrite is the selected "audio engine"
3-Open setup>IO>Input tab and make sure that the Focusrite inputs are listed and "dotted" on the routing grid.
4-remember that youtube is a pretty great source of tutorial videos to help get you going
