Default Protocols 11 window placement Mac OS X 10.10

This problem isn't just protools, but protools suffers worse than most with it.

I use a MacBook Pro with 2 external monitors connected to it, so 3 monitors in total. My main monitor is one of the externals, I make sure the dock is active on this monitor, however every single protools dialog opens on the MacBook display, which is the furthest away from my main monitor, which means I either have to drag it across two monitors, or work with it on the Mac display.

How can I work better than this and help protools work on the primary monitor with the active dock?
