Default Error -9094

I have PT digi 002 bundle with version 8.0 running on a intel duel core system. It was working perfectly until I got a virus. I scrubbed the drive and started over. Now I get a periodic interrupt error -9094 that Ive tried all the solutions posted but still have the problem.
Thanks

[Moved to the correct forum]

Can you post a Sandra report as well as spell out exactly which troubleshooting steps you've done? Did you do a search of the DUC for 9094 yet? There are a lot of possible solutions that come up....

You might install SP3 to your OS. It may not solve this problem but may eliminate a couple if possible issues... And yes a Sandra report would be very helpful.

I followed the recommendations for the windows optimization in the getting started guide. Disabled network card, disabled paging file, checked firewire cable....some other stuff with DMA... and something with USB setting in the BIOS.
I think the only difference from before might be the Xfi drivers are newer. I will continue to look in the DUC.

This may not have anything to do with your issue, but we were very unstable when running only 2GB of RAM and no page file. When we went back to a 3GB page file, all was well.

Have you disabled your built in sound card? Is there anything in the Device Manager with an exclamation mark next to it?

I don't see anything really out of line, other than it looks like you have 2 video cards in this system, which may be the problem - even if they were working before, the reinstall may have triggered something to cause them to be problematic.

Have you tried running the DPC Latency checker app to see if you can identify any spikes in the system? If you open the task manager, is there anything there that looks suspicious at the point you get an error in Pro Tools?

Thanks for the reply. I'm just getting back to this..

No exclamation mark in device manager.
Just one video card is installed with two monitors.
I did not install the drivers for the on board audio and I don't see any errors for it but ill check again maybe in the BIOS??

thanks.
