I'm very impressed with Sierra performance/compatibility so far
WOW Thats Great !! Thank you very much for that info. Hope to test run on one of the new Mac Pro trashcans we have this evening. Did start the download a few hours ago but turned off, but after that post i am ready to try again

Is anyone else having very erratic option+scroll behavior? normally option+vertical-scroll should zoom in/out on the timeline, and option+horizontal-scroll should zoom waveforms. But since I installed Sierra, now any option scrolling does both, and has also randomly opened the task manager window twice.

Sierra 10.12, PT 12.5.2.

Source Elements .., Nexus Basic & Source Connect ETC

Word from SE support is reporting ,

"Just wanted to let you know that we have tested Source-Nexus Basic on macOS Sierra and have found it to be fully functional, including the AAX plugin in Pro Tools 12, and the VST and AU plugins in Reaper.

In regards to the Source-Connect issue mentioned in the Avid forum, we have confirmed that there is a startup issue, but if you continue past the prompt, the software is still fully functional as well. We will be looking into this issue more.

Please note that this only seems to be affecting Source-Connect Standard (Pro and Pro X versions are unaffected).

The latest versions of the rest of our products are also running fine on macOS Sierra. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

Hi Marky - That is a good spreadsheet ..thankyou

I will copy the link to the Opening Post to make it easy for everyone to find .

Just a question , is it possible to ADD plugin manufactures to that list - how does one do that task with the speadsheet ?

Just curious... Has anyone tried Sierra and 12.6?

I did, and surprisingly, it didn't work.

12.5.2 on ElCapitan has a horrible graphic glitch which renders metering with some Avid plugins worthless, but 12.5.2 on Sierra fixes that problem and seems to work fine.

12.6 on the other hand seems purposely crippled. I can't select HDX as a Playback Engine... it just doesn't show up. Past that huge stumbling block 12.6 worked fine for the 2 minutes I used it... before I went back to 12.5.2.

Works great and very stable here.

Do you have the i/o DigiLink license on your ilok ?

otherwise it won't see the HD interfaces or any third party HD interface connected. It's a separate license needed for HDN/HDX setups
