Default All Faders Dead......?

First, everything else is working on the Control 24.... so it not an ethernet enabling issue.
Earlier all the fader went up to +12 and shuddered for a few seconds until I could shut the system down. Power cycled the system, restarted, enabled peripherals/C24... faders dead.
Did reset.
Prefs and databases

Searched the DUC and could not find anything similar. SB

OUCH! Is it possible that you hit the silent mix button(don't know where it is, but it would disable the faders). Do sessions run and sound normal(wondering if more functions are gone bad, which may indicate a power supply issue)? Have you tried running the fader calibration utility? Maybe go to Vegas mode and see what happens there too....

Update....

After contacting Avid, I was directed to a firm in Chicago who could update my 24. Evidently mine is so old that they do not even service them, but have to "build" a new PS with some Digi parts and others.. With shipping it was going to be well over 2k to get the PS replaced.
So I took it to my local electronics Guru and he fixed it for 150.00. I thought it was too good to be true so I have waited 2 months to make sure all is functioning well and solid.. it is. SB
