Apple Magic Trackpad

Just saw where Apple just released the Magic Trackpad 2. Anyone using this successfully with Pro Tools? Have been using an Expert Mouse for years, but this looks interesting. Though at $129, it's not something to buy and find out it's not that great.

It only came out today, so I don't think it's possible for anyone to have tried it yet.

It is somewhat larger, with Force Touch, and looks to be even more sensitive/accurate.

Your best bet is to try it yourself and return it for a refund if you don't like it.

Ok...I'll clarify...the Magic Trackpad 1 has been out for a while..anyone using that for PT?

I did try version 1, not only with Protools, but also Photoshop and general use. I found it to be a little frustrating and not as precise as a mouse, so I returned it.

Some others will hopefully give their experience.

Having said that, I'm hoping to try the new one soon and see how it does.

I use the v1 all the time. I really like all the functionalities of the pad, but it's true that it is a little less precise than a mouse. I tried the magic mouse but it is really too small for my hand.
