Default Need Help! Popping and Crackling Sounds!!

Tried bouncing down from a Fostex VF-16 yesterday via the ADAT lightpipe and for the most part the sound comes through sweet and clear. Then suddenly it will start popping and crackling and not just on one track but across several tracks at different points in the songs. Sometimes the cracks and pops are quite loud and cause the track to peak. Am I doing something wrong or is there something I should be aware of?

Help would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Chris

Are you referenced to the Lightpipe optical?

hey..your problem w/ the clicks is that the ADAT and PRTOOLS session are set to different sample rates..if you already recorded onto the adat at 44.1- your seesio has to be in that sample rate. if you are just using the adat as a digital 8 channel convertor- change the adat to the same sample rate as your PT session..your problems will go away !!
