Default Having withdrawal symptoms without MasterX3

Well. I've upgraded to 11HD and am missing an old friend-- TC electronic's MasterX3. I used it in one parameter or another on everything I sent out of here. I loved to show it to clients and let them pick, with Masterx or without masterX. No oner ever picked the latter. And they were wowed at the difference it made in voice overs. Now that it's gone, don't have it any longer on 10HD or 11HD, I'm wondering if anyone here who has also used MasterX might know of something else like it that will run on 11HD? I've seen some unkind things said here about TC Electronics and they may be well deserved, but MasterX3 was my favorite plugin since Protools 3 or so. I hope there is something like it out there in AAX land!

For me it's MasterX, TC Reverbs, EchoFarm, PitchBlender/TimeBlender, Waves TDM and Massey TDM are what keeps me from even thinking about dropping Accel system.

Thanks to McDSP coming out with DSP versions AAX-S3L system is starting to look like a mixer... still miss the above for S3L too.

Check out bx xl, that plus an eq has done the job here to replace masterx3.

I've made a promise to myself that if TC won't port their stuff over to AAX64, I'm never going to buy anything from them (hardware or software).

Have you tried Waves L3-LL multiband limiter? Much better than X3 in my opinion... Or, first process with Waves C6 and then use a regular limiter, such as the wonderful freebie Massey L2007 :)

Do you know how easy it is to fool a human being? Play the EXACT same file to them and make one 2/10ths of a dB louder and they'll pick it as "better".

Humans are the WORST witnesses.

+1 on Waves L3LL. Brilliant under rated and under advertised plug IMO.
