Computer wont wake up with PT open.

So if I put my Computer to sleep while PT 10 is open so I can eat or something, my computer will not re-awaken no matter what I do (Esc, mouse jiggle, etc).

I then have to just press the on button till the computer turns off so I can re-start it.

Anybody got a fix for this? Thanks!

Windows 7
i5 processor
16 Gig ram.

Nope, and you are not supposed to do this, power management/suspend/resume etc is all supposed to be disabled. You don't even want to do this with many interfaces connected/powered up (esp. Avid) when Pro Tools is not even running.

Sleep has always been unsupported with PT -- do not use it !!

Exactly; and don't forget to enable power on at all times to your USB ports. A lot of people don't realize Windoze turns off power to USB ports by default after a certain amount of time if not used.
