Latency...I tried all the obvious. Help Please!!!
I have a Project Mix and am getting latency in PT that makes it impossible to overdub. Lowered buffer size to 128. No Change! Bypassed all plugins! Removed all Plugins! even disabled half the tracks! No change in latency. The wierdest thing is in Cubase my Latency is 5.3 ms in and out. no problems there it's just protools? Am I missing another setting???? No one has been able to help me? All drivers, firmware and PT are up to date.

Re: Latency...I tried all the obvious. Help Please
That's weird. Cause I was having a latency issue too, but I dropped my setting down from 512 to 256 and it works great now. Are you running a dual core processor?
Here is my setup: Pentium-D 2.8GHz 2GB Ram Project MIX I/O Looks like we have a similar setup. TBF |
