Default cant view WAV files once i edit them

Once I edit my wav files (add compression, bomb factory adjustments, and izotope editing) I can no longer view the file unless I zoom in 8 times.

I've tried restarting Protools LE 7.3, also the computer. Even started a new session and still blank wav files once I start to edit, unless I zoom in 8 times on that file, than it's viewable again.

Any suggestions on how to fix this??

Have you tried making the waveforms larger instead of zoomiing in?

Did you "Recalculate Waveforms"?

Cheers,

Yes, I've tried even fitting the waveforms to screen and they are still blank unless I zoom in about 8 times ...

recalculating the waveforms will bring the new edited selection of the audio up, but once i edited another selection of audio i must recalculate waveforms again for the visual of the sudio to pop back up

Smile Re: cant view WAV files once i edit them

found out my problem :)

I must have clicked the 'Recompute Invalid Overviews' off in the Prefrences

Once I checked that back on, the wavs appeared again!

Thanks everyone for the help! I highly appreciate it!
