Pro Tools 2018.12 crash report windows at every startup

hi everybody,

hope everybody's fine during this quarantine.

This is my first time using this forum,

So i do have a problem with pro tools, last sunday i've decided to reset factory my computer, after that i've started to reinstall pro tools (version 2018.12), but the problem is that i cant use pro tools because of the fact that everytime i launch the app, (as admin/ or normal).

I get the pro tools crash report window without telling me whats causing this issue.

thankfully i do have a macbook pro and my pro tools does work on it,

so the problem only concern the windows version.

as i know the latest compatible version on windows 8.1 is PT2018.12 right ?

i can send more screenshot if asked, and i do have saved the crash log file if needed.

Here is the specs of my pc:
PC manufacturer: MSI
OS: Windows 8.1
Pro Tools version: 2018.12
Soundcard: Focusrite 2i4
Processor: i7 2.60GHZ
RAM: 8 go

Next time you see the crash message, save a screen capture and post it here(or write it down). Its nearly impossible to diagnose without any info on the message. Other things to look at:
Have you reinstalled the driver for the 2i4?
Have you gone to Windows Sound Properties and made sure that the 2i4 is NOT the Windows Default Playback device?
Try holding the N key while opening PT. That SHOULD take you directly to the window to select the 2i4 as the "audio engine" in PT.
8GB of RAM is barely enough for the OS
