Yes, that seems to be the only way to keep it from happening again. Avid support has still NOT given me an honest answer as to why this happened—given that my auto renewal was enabled an my debit card working just fine. In fact, they later charged my card at 2 am CT (this morning) and I did nothing at all to make it happen (I DID NOT UPDATE MY CARD INFO). It seems logical that Arvato had issues and they just do not want to admit it. Besides all this, I would like to know why if my billing date is 5/31/2018 as they say, why my subscription was affected on 5/30/2018?

My Protools 2018 subscription has gone belly up to - can't see the subscription product in my 'products' page despite only being 3 months into it.
My Direct Debit information hasn't changed, so have avid suddenly dropped all subscriptions in an effort to get everyone to shell out all at once? Not good Avid, not good. |

Sorry. I came looking for an answer to this same problem, and I DO have a Perpetual license - which is current and paid for, but I'm getting the Expired License block when I try to start PT 2020.3.
