It’s a subtle warmth saturation type of plug. So for me that didn’t effect how my 2 tracks sounded

Ok I thought through it’s saturation would add some degree of compression and whether you would need to compensate for that.... I guess in the end you just have to go with what your ears are telling you. So looking forward to getting HEAT and giving a whirl.

Can one of the admins please correct the spelling of the title of this thread to:
"Favorite Saturation Plugins - Does Anything Touch Decapitator"

This will help searches performed by other users in the future.

Then just delete my message.

Clip-gain gives you lots more control over HEAT.

Good Catch! Thanks. Changed but the title of all the posts will still have the wrong spelling until I am at a stationary computer.

I never use Decapitator, haven't enjoyed it but will look at it again. I guess I think of it as a distortion primarily.

Heat is very convenient but I end up turning it off after mixing through it, too much detail smearing.

Radiator is always on my snare bus, "Drive Out" setting.

Sonnox Dynamics have a *warmth* parameter that is great.

Slate vcc is really good but clumsy to use. It was easier as a stand-alone plug.

Lately True Iron is getting lots of use. It's addictive.

Yes one of a few plugins we got suckered into after watching Snake Oil guy and now at $39 it is surely a No Brainer !!!!

The best transformer emulation ever made!

Really neat to change color for master and track use

+1 today marks 3 weeks since the article posted which implied was happening within 2-3 weeks. So hopefully we’ll hear something soon! I have a couple of tracks I want to get out there which I would love to run through HEAT prior but can’t wait too long... I’ll be trying this True Iron plug I just got on them today.
