Default Pro Tools 11 & Cubase

I was able to run both together on my iMac today.. I have my Steinberg MR 816csx running Cubase 7 & my Mod UR824 (Steinberg) running Protools 10... What I did was run Cubase into Protools using of course Adat & the analog outputs from the 816 into the UR824 & it ran flawlessly...

Will I be able to do the same with Protools 11?

The reason why I'm asking this is because I love using Protools to do all my mixing, it just works for me...

The question is - what would you really gain from such a setup? I know you said you like mixing in PT and that's fair enough. Why not just do it all in PT instead then you wouldn't have to worry about anything like this.

Hey Musicman what's good bro...

The reason is I have some production already done in Cubase & also I have some clients who only work in Cubase & they use all midi base instruments so instead of doing the file transfer I just transfer using the Adat & outputs from the interfaces...

If you can do it now with Pro Tools 10 and Cubase, there probably isn't much reason why you wouldn't be able to with 11. Isn't it quicker and less work to just bounce the channels or stems and VST instruments out of Cubase and import the wav files into PT to mix though?

Also ( and I hope this don't start anything) but mixing in Protools (To Me) sounds a whole lot better than mixing in Cubase (that's just to me & no pun intended)....
