Eleven Rack Firmware Update v 1.0.3...now!

Good morning everyone!

We are pleased to announce that the 1.0.3 Firmware Update for Eleven Rack is now available for free download to Eleven Rack owners!

You can find everything you'll need here:

http://www.avid.com/US/products/Eleven-Rack/resources

We will also be releasing a version for Win7-64-bit shortly. For those on that platform, you can use the 32-bit version for now. Just be aware that the 'Update' button will look grayed out and the device will appear to be offline...just hit 'Update' anyway and it will work fine.

Yeah I read that. It did update the 11R, BUT after I ran it and the drivers were installed, my system Blue Screened Indicating a problem with an incompatible driver, however after re boot everything seem OK. I will launch PT and see how things go.

I used Run As admin to run the Updater, and my 003R was also plugged in and ON at the time, and the SPDIF sync light on the 003R was still on as well (I had just closed PT to run the updater) So that may have been the problem there.

Hopefully some random weirdness. Lemme know...that's why we're building the 64-bit version...:)

Is is OK to update my 11R if I am using PTLE 8.0.1? I read through the 1.0.3 firmware update notes, but didn't see anything regarding this. Until I can replace my lowly PowerPC Mac, I'm stuck with PTLE 8.0.1.

Yes, the firmware updater should run just fine on the PowerPC. Pro Tools 8.0.1 should also run just fine with the 1.0.3 firmware.

Chimp & Eleven Rack Team,

I wanted to take a second and say thanks! I've had the ER now for several months, and continue to love it's quality, tone shaping, ease of use. I play in a Praise and Worship band and use it live every Sunday. While I love my tube amps and pedals, the ER works better in my current gig environment without sacrificing tone.

Thanks for the recent updates - the tuner is now usable! Keep up the great work and thanks for your responsiveness in this forum!

Thanks for the reply. The firmware updated without any problems, PTLE 8.0.1 booted up fine, too.
