Re: Mbox 2, Apogee Ensemble, s/pdif problem
I also have run into a strange issue with s/pdif. I have been using my Apogee Ensemble for AD/DA conversion via s/pdif, which has been working fine for me during my 96khz sessions. I recently tried starting a new session in 48khz and I cannot get audio to pass through my Digi 003 rack into the Ensemble via s/pdif. I have everything setup the same, of course changing my audio/midi setup to reflect 48khz, but when in my 48khz session, no audio will pass through the s/pdif. Everything seems to be routed properly, and I can even clock the session from the Apogee. I tried contacting Apogee about the issue and I stumped their tech. I was able to get audio to pass through the Apogee by removing the Digi 003 from the chain, so we ruled out that its the Apgoee itself. Seems to be an issue with the Digi?? Oddly, it all works fine if switch to one of my 96khz session. What gives?? If anyone has experienced this issue and fixed, please share! I'm running a mac book pro 2.4 core 2 duo, with Tiger 10.4.11 with Protools LE 7.4
Thanks,
