Not sure if this is the right spot but the Midi section of the old DUC seems to have been swallowed up Trying to create a midi performance with Superior Drummer 3 and have a new problem in that I can't drop a note on the piano roll with the mouse(something I've done a thousand times before). Granted, its been a year since I worked with any midi, but I'm really confused. I can drag a loop from SD3 onto the instrument track and it plays fine. I went to drag a note from the hat to a crash and when I found the crash note and released the mouse, the note disappeared Since that was using the smart tool, I tried the Pencil tool and the same thing. Notes appear but disappear immediately. Tried the same in the midi edit window. Did something change or am I losing my mind?

Follow up: its a bit stranger than I thought. I dragged midi loops from SD3 onto the timeline and what's there plays correctly. BUT, when I drop a note outside of the loop, the midi note shows and works. When I try to add a note INSIDE the loop, the note disappears as if the loop has locked out further editing. Also, if I drop a note outside of the loop and try to drag and drop, it disappears as soon as I drag it to the edge of the SD3 midi clip. All ideas are welcome as this is killing any shot at editing the midi

Okay, nothing more to see here. I swiped across and deleted all the midi clips from SD3 and just penciled in everything
