Midi...KRAZY TOWN!!!!

I have Fire Face 800 PT 10 on PWR MAC OS 10.7 I can lay down a click track, drum track, keyboard on midi, other midi effects and multi-track record. As long as I start in the beginning each time everything sounds great, but if I try to start in the middle of the tracks somewhere, like on a punch in, the midi is all out of whack and out of sync. Beginning perfect every time. Middle.....KRAZY TOWN!!! What's happening here???

I suspect you're using MIDI to trigger loops. If that's the case, you just need to start at the beginning of any bar. You don't have to rewind back to the very beginning. Turn on grid mode and set it to 1 bar.

You could also bus your midi instruments to new audio tracks, record the audio, then mute(or make inactive) the midi tracks(you can always revisit them later if you need to make changes).
