OMF from Premiere - Music has clicky distortion
I have been experiencing an issue when importing OMFs or AAFs from Premiere into Protools:
Often times, after importing an OMF or AAF from an editor using Premiere, I end up with clicky distortion in the music files. It seems to happen at the thickest sections of music, like kick drums, strong bass notes, etc. I thought that I had isolated the issue to when an editor uses an MP3 version of a music file in the edit but I can't verify that completely as I've had some variance where this was not the case. Has anyone else been experiencing this? I noticed it in version 11 of Protools and am still experiencing with version 12. I'm completely up to date with Protools 12.8.3 and running Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6.
