Default Stopping the speeding Tracks

Hello,

I was working on a song and don't know what I accidently set that causes my tracks to speed by as I playback the song. I notice there is a slider type bar between the tools on top and my tracks. I need to set the track speed back so I can edit the end of the song. I did some online searching but didn't find how to fix it. I would appreciate it if anyone can help if you have experienced this. Also, when I try to trim back the end of a track it will not select so I can trim it. I am using Pro Tools SE that came with the M-Audio Mobile Pre.

Thanks in advance,
Dcader10

Pro Tools does not have a speed control like some other DAWs. Please give us more information so we can get a better idea of what's going in. Also, it doesn't hurt to trash prefs and databases. Check out this utility. http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=316863

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I will check out the link. The wave forms on all the tracks seem to be stretched. The song tempo is still the same. I was looking at a video on YouTube about the zoom tool. Could it be that I zoomed in on the tracks. If so how do I zoom out to normal appearance of the tracks? I have a guitar, vocal & drum loop track on this song. I am not super savy with Pro Tools SE. I appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance,
Dcader10

Oh, it's zoomed in? That's an easy one. Alt-A will instantly zoom the view out to the whole session. In the top left corner of the edit window are the four edit modes (grid, slip, spot, shuffle). To the right of that are a left and right button flanking some other buttons. The left and right buttons are for zooming in and out.
