correct driver version for 003 with PT11.1.2 on OSX 10.8.5
A little confused here. I’ve been having a LOT of AAE -6101 errors in PT11 but PT10 is running fine. Even with “ignore playback errors…” and “I/O latency” enabled I get errors. Even just trying to record a single track with no fx and Video Engine turned off it crashes. Only thing I can think is that it’s an issue with the version of driver I’m using.
A little background on the system; it’s a MacPro3,1 with a fresh install of 10.8.5 (no upgrade from 10.7, I wiped the drive and started totally clean) currently I’m using PT10.3.8 and PT11.1.2. I have the 10.3.3 driver for PT10 and 11.0 for PT11. When looking on the driver page (Digi-002-003-Drivers) I saw that there is now a 11.1 driver but it seemed to only deal with Mavericks (10.9). Am I wrong in the assumption that 11.1 is not for 10.8 systems? I love PT11 but it’s utterly unusable with all the AAE errors. |
