buffer size 48 samples
when tracking in fl studio i can you use a buffer size of 48 samples in pt 2018 the only low options i have are 64 and 32 as a buffer size is that the standard for protools? if so i was looking to purchase a new audio interface any suggestions on some that can run as low as 32 samples?

You are leaving off any useful info about the interface needs?
What inputs/outputs? Computer/OS? interface connection? USB2? Thunderbolt 3?... Budget? —- What buffer size works in practice is very much dependent on your computer. Can you use (effectively) zero latency hardware monitoring? If so that a key feature to look for, and skip the fight for low buffer size. And if you want to monitor through plugins then there is UAD Apollo, and Now getting started Apogee.

Pro Tools only allows multiples of 32: 32, 64, 128 etc.
You have a Babyface Pro and it allows different buffer sizes, but PT doesn't. Also, IIRC, PT only does 32 on Mac and only goes down to 64 on Windows. You have a great interface in the RME BFP and it has great drivers, so no need to look for another interface.
