MP3.dll file type
Ok this has bugged me for some time now and anymore am constantly doing mp3s for clients.
Is there a way with resedit to go into the dll code and change the default file type to MPEG SCPL for Soundapp? That is what I use to playback mp3s and the default macamp is ancient and out of business as far as i know. you can change everytime you bounce in the dialog window but it is a pain in the butt! Thanks

This is not determined by the MP3.dll - the file association is set on your computer.
Are you on OS9 or OSX?

I'm on 9. but haven't had macamp in years. I swear from day one when i installed, it automatically chose that program. and I have been in my file mapping cp let me look again.
or is it being stored elsewhere? Nope i just checked File exchange and internet mapping and sherlocked all drives for any trace of MacAmp, nothing so explain that?
