Default Windows Sound Designer 2 Player Apps??

Sorry im a Mac user with a PC. I have boat loads of Sound Designer 2 files i need to listen to on the PC.

What Windows programs are available that will play Sound Designer 2 files...this program must have playlist capabilities. I want to load up all the SD2 files in the list an just play them all for auditioning.

Oh and where would i go to download these programs?

Cheers,
Targon

no problem!
Toast on the Mac reads SDII files, so just burn an audio CD.... On the PC you can even use the windoze media player to listen to these tracks directly from the audio CD, or copy them to your hard drive and then make a playlist......mmmmhhh maybe you should use a ripper that will save your files as waves (audio crusher) and then use the Windows media player only to make a playlist and listening. Reason being that the WMP doesn´t save the file as wave but as it´s own format which seems to be similar to an MP3.....

man, you´re an older member than me! figures you have Mac issues lol

Try this link. http://www.io.com/~mcgriffy/audio/

Download SD2Wave. This program is designed to convert Mac Sound Designer II files to wav files. Since all the metadata in an SDII file is in the resource fork, all we get on the PC side is the raw PCM data. So what this program really does is swap from Motorola to Intel byte order and add a wav file header using parameters that you give it.

The command line version takes input and output file names as parameters and has options for setting bit depth, sample rate, and number of channels. This really does work but you have to baby it and tell the program the bit depth and sample rate of each file you are converting.
