Does the new AAX version of Disto still support 32 Big Pro Tools 10? Still using it for most productions so it would be good to know.

It should, absolutely.

AAX users (Win and Mac): please download the new files from your user area, they've been updated.

Fixes:

- Should fix the "Link" issue.
- On Mac, AAX-DSP stereo is called correctly (typo removed).

Changes:

- New "Dry-Mix" label, as requested. Should make dry signal mixing more intuitive.
- Autogain is now triggered by all controls (but autogain switch, Volume knob, Harmonic mode).

Fingers crossed, let's make it rock solid.

It is going FOH on Venue, too.

And when it does, will Disto-S new customers get Disto-R for free?

As my 3-lb mind understands it...

Disto R is what the product will be called from now on. It is also a new algorithm

Disto S is the original algorithm and is included in the Disto R package...

Current Disto S users qualify for a free upgrade to Disto R

Haha from the footnote on the SKnote web page of Disto (Disto-S), I understand just the opposite, hence my confusion, see:

"Note for v.2 users: This new version is called Disto-S (simpler interface, highly optimized, includes AAX-DSP). v.2 will become Disto-R, will include the new algorithm contained in Disto-S and will be available in the same single package shortly."

Disto-R is the old one, which will be improved and extended to include Disto-S.

So, why Disto-S? Simpler interface and DSP.
