Default Pro Tools "Expiration Warning" Won't Stop

Hi there,

I teach at an audio college and we therefore have a lot of Macs and a lot of iLoks for students. Since upgrading to PT11, we keep receiving a window stating;

"Expiration Warning
Product Name: Pro Tools 11
Publisher: Avid

The licence you have will expire at:

31 December 2015 11:56:16 pm AEST

If you would like to activate a licence, click the activate button."

This message comes up with literally every computer login, every iLok and every computer. Any time a student moves to a new computer, or if multiple people use one computer but different logins, the message will come up.

Seeing as there is still a whole year worth of licence, surely there is a way to remove it?

What specific version of PT11 are you using - a student version? I ask because standard PT11 does NOT have an expiration date. As long as you have your iLok2 plugged in with a valid PT license asset then there should be no such message. What version of OSX are you running?

It will have an expiration date if it's an educational NFR (not for resale). I would check to see if PT is installed on a standard account rather than administrator. Standard accounts bring all manner of bother.

Portable home directories?
Do you have a Tech that knows Pro Tools doing the work or is it a general IT drone
