Default 1 Plugin attached to 2 iLoks?

Hey All,

Curious - I purchase one plugin. I want to run use the plugin on two different computers. One is at home and the other is at a studio. I have two iLoks, one iLok in each locations. Since I have purchased the plugin can I simply download it and set it up on both computers? Additionally, can I register the plugin with each iLok so I can use either computer and not have to ever worry about bringing an iLok with me all the time?

Thanks in advance!

no, most software license are like a car title you buy one you get one, not two (some companies do let you run 2 active computers)

Just move the license from one iLok to the other using the iLok License Manager on each computer.

Cheers,

Some companies, like Slate actually allow for 2 assets. My partner and I have a few of these and each have an iLok from the other's account so we can both use those. Otherwise, you would need to buy a second license. Since we are on the subject of iLoks, there are a few things to remember:
1-if its important, buy the insurance
2-if its used on a laptop, use a "dongle buddy"(short USB cable) to avoid breakage
3-NEVER lend it out(really....don't do it)
