Default Dragging non interleaved stereo clips to stereo track changes pan [SOLVED]

After I import an omf, I drag or copy my music tracks (which import as 2 tracks) to a stereo track. But when I do so, that stereo track's pan setting changes from hard L, R to up the middle. Am I missing a default setting or is this normal normal behavior?

Solved! Unchecked "Pan Automation and Setting" ... of course.
