Collaboration Session Default to Documents Folder - can we Change it ??

... hi, is there a way to change the Default for the Project Section that is on our harddrives .. ?? i do not want it to be on my System Drive ?? thats why i have separate audio drives ..

maybe i missed that somewhere ..

ALSO: when i look into the Package Contents for Project Cache i see cryptic files .. not the name of the projects i have .. ??

It's in preferences. Move to any folder on any drive. It will then ask if you would like to have all projects moved to that folder.

As far as the cryptic file names go... I have no solution.

so everyone can know .. it is PT Prefs / Operation(not Collaboration) / User Media and Settings Location - bottom Left / Project Media Cache ...

right where i would have looked ... thank you Tom

Right, in Setup > Preferences > Operation tab > User Media and Settings Location > Project Media Cache
...can change to audio drive.

Can't open sessions from Project Media Cache, only from Dashboard... file names, folders there are to make Cloud work...

Be Aware ... i tossed my preferences to see what happens with this Selection of Changing the Project Media Folder Preference to my Audio Drive ... well, it changes back to the default ... my Sessions do Not forget where they are ... !!!

can we ask that this does not change - we do not need anything else to remember when something goes wrong in the Heat of the Moment ..

i guess someone thought that naming it Collaboration Session was not good once you shortened it to C-Session .. so now we have the Project .. hehe it just gets better ..

if this is how it is going to be forever and from Now On .. then so be it ..

and i made 2 sessions for testing and so only one left .. i feel like i need to rub the genie's belly again for 3 more wishes ..
