Default 8.0.3 a mess for you too???

So. On a system that ran up to 8.0.1 flawlessly, 8.0.3 has been:
Inserting random white noise bursts;
Randomly throwing interleaved stereo tracks out of sync.
Randomly waiting FOREVER to play back and/or record.

Don't have time for this, am reverting back to 8.0.1 as we speak.

Anyone else?

I have come to the conclusion that I am perfectly happy with running my 7.4 system.

It seems between issues with 8.0.3, loading disk problems, etc, etc, etc.....I am happy to just be happy.

Dude!

A whole bunch of us did this a fair while back.....

For now, it's best to stick with Windows XP (if possible) and stay on PT 8.0.1cs1

I think that the 8.0.whatever should be finished... I'd say that 8.1 is now (over)due and really needs to address things that are currently plauging users...

The other oddities I encountered:
Once again could not audition tracks off a cd when trying to import, even though I could in 8.0.1.
Also could not drag tracks from Windoze Explorer into the region list OR onto the timeline. And can again now that I'm back to 8.0.1.

I updated yesterday an am having the same problem (Mbox2Pro / WinXP). I was running 8.0 perfectly fine. I worked on it all day yesterday and am in a panic. I dont have time for this either.

I want to revert back to 8.0 and possibly up to 8.0.1cs1. Forgive me for being an idiot but how can I revert back? Do I just install 8.0.1cs1 over this installation??? Immediate help would be deeply appreciated. I'm right in the middle of a major project

Uninstall 8.0.3 in your Control Panel, but JUST uninstall the program. Then install 8 again, then do the 8.0.1 update.
