Default ReWire gone HayWire

So I installed 7.1cs7 then installed the latest version of Reason (3.0.5)

When I stop playback in PT, Reason starts playing back from the beginning of its sequence almost as if I pressed RTZ and then play....it does this intermittently....anyone else experiencing this annoying bug?

Default Rewire probs in PT7

Well, Ableton Live 5.x and PT7 aren't too happy together, either. The Rewire connection in PT6.9 used to be rock solid, but now it's quite flaky. Every other time Live just keeps on playing after I stop PT. Then I have to press start and stop again to make it stop. Also, every time I quit PT aften having used Live it quits with an "unexpect..." error. I believe many people have this prob and it'd be nice if Digi could look into it.

Default Re: ReWire gone HayWire

Reason 3.0.5 installs ReWire 1.7, which I think only works properly on Intel Macs. Could be mistaken here...

Default Re: ReWire gone HayWire

There is no mention of an incompatiblity on the Propellerheads website....there also seems to be some supposed speed improvements with 3.0.5.

Also having problems now with dead instrument tracks when I change the Rewire stereo outputs from one set to another. Solution is to reinsert a rewire instance with the new outputs....a little bit of a workflow problem.

For me the upgrade to 7 from 6.9.3 has been a little bumpy. Stability seems to have improved but there are some weird bugs like this Rewire thing and the "Unexpectedly Quit after Quitting" niggle.
