Any Massey News?

+1 for massey, also D2M pro and talkback. I'd like to see a talkback pro that also had some modes geared for listenback and a SC input on comp.

IE mic turns off when transport starts, OR of guitarist starts up with 110dB noodling.

Talkback doesn't need to make it to AAX. I devised a workaround that will work on any PT11 system, no additional plug-ins necessary. My talkback setup video might be of interest to you folks.

Thanks. I was worried. I heard news when AAX first came with PT10 but once it went 64bit it was silence.

As others have said the l2007 is essentially a staple plugin for me along with Tapehead.

Thanks. Yeah that's what I've been doing in the meantime except using dyn III, it works, I tend to import all my default stuff by default without any clips so if Steven does do TB for sale I'd buy it. Especially a TB pro with a few more options geared towards listenback as well, would be really nice IMO.

I'm curious, how did you arrange for the channel to cut once the signal crosses above a threshold, for killing feedback? There isn't a 0:1 ratio available on the Dyn3 comp, and no "inv" setting on the gate.. I couldn't figure out a way to do it with those plug-ins.

Info on the Massey forum as of 12-11-13 indicates they are currently in beta land and they are trying to get them out for the new year.

Over the years I've download updates for Massey plugins about as often as I have for other audio software so although he may be a perfectionist (and I believe this to be true) he should accept the fact that, like his past work, they're not going to be perfect from Day One. Though these aren't new plugins, they're adaptations of sorts, so bugs related to software newness should be kept to a minimum.

At this point, after such a long delay, I think it's starting to make his company look bad.
