Default Formatting new drive

Hey, I just have a quick question. I got a Seagate Barracuda 500 GB SATA drive. I need to format it, and I want to know what disk allocation size to choose. Should I just choose "Default" or is there a specific setting which is better?

A lot of people talk about using larger block allocations, I, as sunburst does, use default.

I always use default too. No problems running fully blown sessions almost everyday.
