Default Need help with clocking profire2626 and ADA8000

Hi there. Ive just bought a profire 2626 and ADA8000 recently and im new to digital clocking. I got the ADA8000 for the purpose of additional inputs for recording. I've connected the digital cable from the optical out of the ADA8000 to the IN_A of the Profire 2626 but still cant get any signal from ada8000 to the profire control panel (Hosted Mode sync source set to "Internal"). Can anyone help me with this? Which interface should i set to Master? Can anyone illustrate in details the correct hardware and control panel setup? Do i have to use 2 digital cables or one should do the work? I would really be glad if anyone can help me. Thanks

From my reading, the profire has a good clock so I would use internal as the clock setting, but to run this way, I believe you will need 2 lightpipe cables as the clock needs to travel back to the ADA8000 from the profire ADAT OUTPUT. Then you need to figure how to set the ADA8000 to run with external clock. Once you get that setup, you probably need to go into the I/O setup page>Input tab and add the paths for the ADAT channels.

As i described it, yes the profire would be master. It can likely be run either way but I expect the profire to have a better clock than the Behringer piece.
