Digi 002 Problems with PT LE 8.0.4

Just installed the update for 8.0.4. Everything was working fine with 8.0.1 and 8.0.3 until I updated to .4. Now I cannot get the 002 to record any type of track. It does not seem to be reading any audio or midi track which is enabled and record ready. It will play back previously recorded sessions but nothing new can be recorded. Checked the I/O settings and the paths seem to be correct. Can this be a Vista Ultimate problem? Already unistalled and reinstalled it one 2 times.

Any suggestions?

I think we have a similar issue... try to bus out to busses 1 and 2, make an auxilary bus track to receive them, and then see if you can hear or record anything

8.0.4 wasn't intended for Vista. That's a Win 7 version.

8.0.4 is for XP and Vista (32 bit) and W7 (32 and 64 bit). it is the last version for XP and Vista for LE/MP. XP for HD will live at least another version.

i have defaulted mine, so i know thats not my issue, i even reverted back to 8.03 the other day, everything was fine... tried it again all day today, same issues... i think im going to revert back again once i buy this Acronis thing tomorrow

i believe prefs get reset when goin' to 8.0.4. make sure that your hdds/partitions are record ready in the workspace...since you say it's a record issue and not playback.

if you are talking to me, sorry, mine is a record and playback issue.... preferences were dumped, everything was setup and resetup... my issue has to be somethin with the drivers(i think)
