Default Midi window record enable button behavior

It's nice to have this button finally however I'm not sure about the implementation. As of right now if you have say 10 tracks of midi selected to be shown it puts all ten tracks into record. I could see this being useful but rarely. I only need one at a time 99% of the time. I can still do it the old way, going back to the mix/edit window but this defeats the purpose of the welcome addition.

Anyway to change this behavior? Thanks

i just played around with this for a few minutes ... i see No Way, at the Moment, as to how to change this ..

a bit of a sticky wicket if you hit it by accident and you are hiding your Mix/Edit window ... oops did i just erase all those tracks again .. !!!

You could really mess things up during a time crunch. It's mind boggling Avid sees this as the most useful way to include this.
