Rev 2 is up to FB now. I have a Rev 2 Fb and it seems to be fine so far. i have only opened a few older sessions and done the DVERB test though. nothing overly taxing (real world) yet.

@ Empire

It's up to you, how much horse-power do you want? How much are you willing to spend for that extra power? I got the 920 and overclocked it. I never expected to get the amount power I'm getting out of this thing.

i got my 930 from micro center and it was actually cheaper than the 920 at the time i bought it. i think the 930 was $199 and the 920 was $229.

Although that is true, personally I have found that it is not Pro Tools I need to be worried about as updating to FB disrupted Windows 7 Updates on one partition so I rolled the revision back.

Anyone forsee any problems with this build? I already have a case, power supply and video card so that should be good. No sample hard drive (yet).

Check Gigabyte for recommended RAM for the motherboard.

Ive used mushkin DDR3 1600 both gold and silver lines with the GigaX58A builds with no issues. I did have issues with 1333. I cant tell what RAM you have selected but you might want to verify its 1600.

They should be links so you can click them. And it is 1333 RAM. What kind of problems did you have with them?
