Not valid audio volume: reformat & Tech Support Utility didn't work
Had to reformat my internal HD which has Pro Tools on it. That was successful, but Pro Tools tells me the two external Firewire drives that have been used with PT all along are not valid audio drives. Changing their status in Workspace doesn't work. Using the Digi Tech Support Utility to trash preferences and databases didn't work. Reformatting one of the two external drives thus far has not worked. I did a re-install, but I just ran the last updater over top of the existing install.
Where are instructions for doing a 'clean install' ... or what do I do next? Thanks... Mac G4 1.25GHz OS 10.4.11 PTLE 7.0cs5 |

Re: Not valid audio volume: reformat & Tech Support Utility didn't work
All taken care of:
I ran the PTLE 7 installer, it enabled me to uninstall the software. I then re-installed it, ran the 7.0cs5 updater and launched PTLE. I was then able to make the external drives record volumes again using Workspace. |
