Default I/O changed from one day to the next

Hey guys, happen to anyone else ? I have a studio I/O setup for my studio setup in ProTools. Working on a file and everything has been fine for a long time. The Main Outputs were working fine, inputs and busses. Getting sound no problem from the session. Next day I opened another mix and I was getting no sound out of the mains. I checked with DP and all was well there. I then went to the I/O setup in PT and my studio setup of ins, outs and busses were all gone and they all changed to some weird configuration. Can anyone shed any light on that, thanks !

Most common reason for this is the Playback Engine is not what you think it is. Was it correct?

I/O setup can change for variety of reasons. If you want to be sure, you'd need to save your preferred setup to a file and then load it from there if needed.

Hey Daryl, I did not check that. I went to my BU hard drive quickly before my client came over. All was well there.I will check that out on my main HD. Sounds very logical , thanks !
