Default Playback from 002 with windows, video games etc

I'm trying to get audio playback through my digi 002 while using applications on a windows based computer. I bought the unreal 3 editor (video game) and wanted to do some sound design work, but even with the digi audio core plug I am unable to get audio through my 002. Is there a work around for this? Windows media player and iTunes seem to work, but nothing else!

Have you read the link?

For XP there is the Digi MME Helper software!

Bear in mind, though, that even though the MME helper works pretty well, Digi hardware is SINGLE client, so only one program will access it at a time. The majority of us are using the on-board soundcard for Windows & 'net & all, and just using the Digi hardware for Pro Tools. It's much smoother.

Just run a mini plug to dual RCA cable into the Alt inputs on the 002 and hit the Alt to Mon button to listen to all non-Pro Tools sounds. Its simple, its cheap, it works
