Default D-Command - track name

Guys I must have messed something up and for the life of me I can't figure it out

Why does my track name not show up?

I'm positive it was my fault but I don't know how to get it back.

And at the time it disappeared I was removing send's across my mix

Fader 1 scribble strip....it's the only one like that in the mix

Its set using the Dsp Mode just to the left of the EQ Knobs, above the Focus Channel Section. Keep pushing the button until the track names come up.

The D Command is basically telling you, you need more cow bell, so it messes with the track names to draw attention to it......

Have you tried a power-cycle? I've had Console Gremlins™ go away after turning the console off/on.

Yep I reckon it's a gremlin.

Occasionally happens on my D-Control.

What happens when you bank/nudge? Does it follow the channel?

Power cycle?

All sessions or just this one?

Happened a few times on our D-Control ES 32 and we had to reset the main unit so maybe try this:

For main unit: Go to Utility>Reset and hit OK to confirm the reset. For Fader pack: When Pro Tools is not running, hold down these modifier buttons (on the control surface) in order: Shift + Alt/Command + Win/Option. Next press the Select button associated with the Reset command and confirm the choice by hitting the Select button below.

Hope you find the issue asap.

Thanks guys for the input.

Yes when nudging it follow that track. So that tells me it's been modified in some way.

Power cycling didn't work. Only on that session....

Never done a reset I will have to try that, I'm only on the Main unit....8faders only

So, it's specific to that track.

Try making new session and importing that track.

Try changing that track's name.

Have you replaced the name with a space? The strip will turn black if so.
