Default Best way to Sync a 002 to an MBOX 2 Pro

Hey I just wanted to get a few opinions out there.... I want to sync up a 002 and a MBox 2 pro. What are some suggestions on the configurations. What I want to have happen is when I press start on on system the other starts playing as well. In other words I will have a total of 64 tracks playing back. Also keep in mind that the Apogee Mini Me is also hooked up by spdif as master clock on the 002 as well as a Beringher ADA-8000 that provides an additional 8 ins and outs for the 002. Now give me your specs on how you would configure the sync between the 2 know what you have available to use for synching. I expect an answer in 2 minutes... Hahahhaha!!! Thanks alot guys, look forward to hearing some of your ideas.
P.S "Please keep in mind the details"

Default Re: Best way to Sync a 002 to an MBOX 2 Pro

You need two computers, one for the 002 and one for the mbox.

Let's assume the 002 will be the master. Your cable connections will be a midi cable from one of the Midi outs from 002 to midi in on the mbox pro, and a spdif cable from the 002's spdif out mbox pro's spdif in.

002 setup: In the Pro Tools setup window, in the "Peripherals" menu under "Machine Control" the 002 should be set to enable MIDI machine control to the port your midi cable is hooked up to.

Mbox pro setup: On the second computer in the Pro Tools setup menu in the "peripherals" menu under "synchronization" the mbox pro should be set to generic MTC reader to the midi in port. Also, make sure to set to clock to spdif in the hardware setup.

Hit the online button in the transport of the slave (mbox) computer running pro tools, and now it should slave to the 002 computer. Whn you press play on the 002 system, the mbox pro will play too.
