Default Ring modulator

Looking for a good ring modulator plugin. I do have the Moogerfooger bundle which has one but I have trouble getting the sound I want out of it. I need to re-create the vocalizations of a Dalek and I know from one of the Doctor Who 50th anniversary specials they use a ring modulator to get that sound. The one they showed was a hardware one that looked like your typical BBC ancient hardware

Have you tried the "Sci-Fi" Pro Tools Plug-in?
(Native/DSP under modulation category).

Yes and no satisfaction there either.

Default Ring modulator

Maybe this: http://www.meldaproduction.com/plugi...MRingModulator

I have'nt used it but it's free so if it does the job.

I think the Eventide H3000 Factory might have some ring mod patches.

Also, Exponential Audio new multi-effects looks like it will be a top tool for sound design job. It's not yet released unfortunately.

As a side note, if you have some kind of modular/semi-mod VI that you can input audio thru you could try and use that.

There's also a multiband version of Melda's ring modulator.

This might well work for what I want - hopefully they have a demo. I dropped off Facebook just before they started the new privacy rules on New Year's Day so looks like I'll have to pay but the price ain't too bad.

You might want to wait for Exponential Audio's Excalibur to release.

Don't even want to think about that. I have Reaktor and have had nothing but troubles routing audio into and back out of Reaktor ensembles that can do that. Can never seem to get the hang of that. I did find one in GR5 but hate running a guitar sim just for that one plugin.
