Compatibility IDIOT - please help LE 6.9 --- Mac OS X 10.4.1

I'm an idiot with this OS, Version stuff....

My Digi 002 was just shipped (from a guy on craigslist); it came with LE 6.9 (MAC)..... I am currently running OS X 10.4.11 ---- there is obviously some type of compatability issue here... Do I need to get a more updated version of LE?

I'm using a fairly old 1.8GHz PowerMac G5 with 10.4.11 installed.

ERROR I'M GETTING:

The application "Pro Tools LE 6.9" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "4<Pro Tools PPC dbg><Pro Tools PPC dbg><DAE><FreeFic>"

you need 6.9.3 or up
you will probably have to buy it from the Digi store

Hello,

If your machine has 10.4.11 you have to upgrade to 6.9.2, the only working version of PT 6 on Tiger (see compatibility grid).

I think, with 6.9 you qualify for a free upgrade to 6.9.2. As for 6.9.2, it should function with 10.4.11, I myself was working with 6.9.2 on 10.4.6 many months.

Other than that, you can always upgrade to 7.x, but this time paying a small fee.
