technical document library problems

I have been trying to read the "Avid Products Collaboration Guide" and have had no success. I have tried on a couple different PC's, and once the file is open it freezes anytime I try to navigate to a page. I do need this info, so how can I get it? Please advise.

Try Downloading instead of reading from the web.

I asked about this one a few weeks ago, and got the following reply from Digi:-

For any larger Acrobat docs on our site, it is generally much easier to download it to your hard drive first. If you have a 2 button mouse, right click on the link, and "download link". If you have a one button mouse, just hold the mouse button down on the link until the options dialogue appears, or Control click on the link.

We have the links set up to open a new browser window so that if you do choose to view a document using the pdf browser plug-in, you can still surf while document page is loading.
