Default 48 kHz (Ext. clock)

I am trying to set my sample rate to 44.1 kHz but Pro Tools will not let me change it. I am attempting to put audio with 44.1 kHz into Pro Tools from Ableton. How do I fix this? Thank you.

Hi,

What computer?
What operating system?
What audio interface?

Hi, Kreskin here. I suspect he's on Windows and trying to use his interface for PT and Windows sounds/audio. OP, don't do this. Make your onboard soundcard the default for Windows sounds/audio and leave your interface ONLY for Pro Tools.

Hello. I apologize for getting back so late. My set up is: 16GB RAM, Asus Z-170AR motherboard, Intel i5 6600K 3.2 gHz, NVIDIA 1060 graphics card, Presonus audiobox. To my knowledge, Pro Tools is set up on my audio box ASIO driver. Is that what you mean? Thank you for the replies.

Make sure that the Presonus is only being used by PT and not Windows audio as well. If it is also selected under Control Panel "Sounds" for Windows audio, the sample rate is being dictated by Windows which is why you cannot change it.
