Re: Where is my Pro Tools 12 Upgrade?
Hi, I've been following this thread since the Pro Tools 12 announcement and I'm still waiting to see the downloader appear in my "Products Not Yet Downloaded" portion of My Account.
I purchased the Full Student license 5/13/2013 Please advise, thanks! |

Re: Where is my Pro Tools 12 Upgrade?
Hi,
We bought a new Pro Tools HD|Native system & a 16|16 I/0 on October 27th, 2014. I believe we are in the 1 year support period for Pro Tools 12.1 HD upgrade, but it is not in our account? We tried to 'claim it' using our system ID, however, it is not accepted and our complimentary 90 days of support codes no longer work either (no surprise as it's August '15!) Our Avid master account lists Toledo School for the Arts. Please advise. Thank you in advance. |

Re: Where is my Pro Tools 12 Upgrade?
Hello DigiTechSupt
Please excuse me for re-posting but I am wondering if you could please help with this. I am currently holding PT12 educational as well as PT11 HD native licenses. Is it possible for me to transfer the PT12 educational to another user? I am aware that you can not sell the license but I would like to give it to a fellow producer friend if I am not using it. As another scenario, would I be allowed to transfer/sell it if the receiver was a student as well and he could provide proof? Thanks so much |

Avid Pro Tools 10/11 Academic License Info Note: This license for PT10 Academic includes 4 years of free upgrades, including the upcoming PT11. The impression going into the purchase was that upgrades would be covered until May 2017, please advise. Thanks |

Hi Toledo School for the Arts, Unfortunately, a full version or a system purchased before 01/22/2015 doesn't include a support plan and is not eligible for a free upgrade to 12. Best Regards, YD |

Re: Where is my Pro Tools 12 Upgrade?
It would be good if Avid follow Imageline's upgrade plans. If you buy FL Studio, for example, you receive the later versions without paying a fee or a limited time, it's a lifetime upgrade. Avid is thinking about it? Because Pro Tools is expensive, more expensive than FL Studio and better. Well, it`s my opinion. I have Pro Tools 12 and if won't have lifetime upgrade, I will use Pro Tools 12, because I don't want to pay again. The only real problem is with my laptop Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro and it's resolution (3200x1800) and Pro Tools, but it's a good program, I am waiting an Avid help.
